Purpose

The purpose of the conference is the exchange of best practices between French and Romanian specialists, in the field of local public administration and entrepreneurship, to identify solutions that ensure the sustainable development of Hunedoara county, by increasing its administrative, economic, and social potential.

Objectives

    Identifying solutions for the sustainable development of territorial administrative units in Hunedoara county based on the principle of territorial and economic intelligence;
  • 2
    The creation of mechanisms for realizing and consolidating in the future the collaboration between the territorial administrative units of Hunedoara County and those of the Hauts-de-France Region;
  • 3
    Realization of a workshop for the exchange of best practices between the conference participants, on issues of interest to Hunedoara County.

Desired results

    Creating the premises for the creation of an institutional framework for the collaboration of territorial administrative units with French and Romanian specialists, for carrying out in mixed teams some projects of interest for the sustainable development of Hunedoara county (exchanges of experience, working visits, joint participation in some projects with international financing of interest for Hunedoara county etc.);

    Creation within the Deva Territorial Centre of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) of a consulting excellence pole in the field of sustainable development, which will include university professors and researchers from ASE Bucharest and universities from Hunedoara county, specialists from the local public administration, entrepreneurs, as well as professors-researchers from French universities;

    Identification of the portfolio of issues of interest for the sustainable development of Hunedoara county.

Publication

The representative materials that will be presented at the conference will be published in prestigious journals of ASE, as well as of the partner universities.
