The Center for Economic Analyzes and Policies has strong cooperation with other research and higher education institutions in the country and abroad, with the aim of generating analyzes, studies and research around three fundamental areas: microeconomics, macroeconomics and economic policies.

Through scientific research – fundamental and applied – in the field of economic analysis and policies, the research center aims to strengthen the capacity of economic policy makers to adopt effective measures, both for the microeconomic and for the macroeconomic levels. By disseminating the results of scientific research, the center aims to open new research directions in the economic field, compatible with the global demands. Also, the research results in the approached fields are capitalized by supporting the training programs at master, doctoral and postdoctoral level.

The analyzes mainly focus on: macroeconomic policies (monetary, fiscal, income etc.), growth and economic development policies, sectorial policies (industrial, agricultural, commercial, competition etc.), the microeconomic level (company strategy, game theory , human resources economy etc.), the integration of the Romanian economy in the European Union, the challenges of globalization on the Romanian economy.

The research projects conducted within the Center for Economic Analyzes and Policies managed to develop a network of collaboration at national and international level, with the participation of research and higher education units, as well as the business sector. By coherently disseminating the results of scientific research conducted in conferences, symposiums and workshops, the exchange of scientific information and experience was successful, with prestigious research institutions at national and international level.
