Mihail Bușu, PhD is lecturer and vice-dean at the Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages, Bucharest University of Economic Studies. His research focuses on statistics and econometrics, economic modeling, circular economy, competition policy, decision-making processes, financial risks and risk management. He has published more than 20 ISI Web of Science articles in international journals, including Mathematics, Symmetry, Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, Amfiteatru Economic, Energies, Economic Computation and Economic Cybernetics Studies and Research and Processes. Dr. Bușu is a reviewer of the international journals Management & Marketing. Challenges for the Knowledge Society, Amfiteatru Economic, Mathematics, Economics, Energy and Journal of Risk and Financial Management. In 2019 he received the Georgescu Roegen Award for outstanding scientific research. Since 2015, Mihail Bușu has been a member of the Romanian Actuarial Association.

She attended a training course D.E.S.S. “Creation d’Entreprise et Gestion de Projets Innovants” programme – „Tempus Phare Individual Mobility Grant“, within Montesquieu Bordeaux IV – French University, between March-May 1998.
Along her more than 25 years’ experience in teaching and research within the university, she has often lectured as a specialist in: Human Resources Management, Operational Technique in Tourism, Organizational Culture. She is an author and co-author of 10 published books (e.g. she was awarded the Romanian Academy‘s “Virgil Madgearu prize” in 1999 as a co-author of the book “Human Resources Management”). She was also part of 11 national and international research contracts, wrote more than 80 articles and scientific papers (most of them published within indexed journals) and attended different conferences in many countries. In 2001, she became a PhD in Economics with her research thesis in the Organizational Culture field.
She is a former chancellor within the Faculty of Commerce (2008-2012). Since 2008, she is a member of the Faculty Council, and since 2012 she is also the Vice-Dean in charge with the research activities and international relationships of the Faculty of Business and Tourism. Moreover, she is a member of the Romanian Association of Journalists in Tourism, co-founder of CACTUS Association – Academic Research in Tourism and Services, and member of the Academic Research Centre in Tourism and Services within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.

He started teaching in 2002 as teaching assistant, currently he is full professor at Statistics and Econometrics Department from the same university. Since December 2019 he is part time professor within School of Business, London South Bank University. Since 2016 he is part of European Statistical Advisory Committee (ESAC) (Eurostat) while from 2017 he is member of European Masters in Official Statistics (EMOS) Board. He worked with quantitative methods in Education and Research Ministry (2001-2008) and National Institute of Statistics (2008-2011). He had managerial responsibilities as The Dissemination of Romanian Statistical Information Activity or vice-dean of the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics (2012 – present) and member of University Senate (2012 – present). Main areas of research interests are: statistics and econometrics; quantitative methods in religion; scientometrics; health metrics.

Nadia Albu is professor of accounting and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems, in charge with research and international relations. Dr. Albu has been a teacher and researcher at ASE since 2000 and had in parallel an extensive international experience, including a master degree obtained in 2001 from Université d’Orléans, France, a Fulbright visiting professor grant obtained in 2014, a Deloitte-IAAER scholar grant between 2013-2016, and a visiting professorship at ESSEC Business School, France, since 2016. Dr. Albu is actively following the changes in the accounting profession globally, being part of teams conducting research for IFAC and Edinburgh Group. Her main research interests focus on the transformations of accounting systems in emerging markets, investigating the change and inertia in the accounting field (corporate reporting, auditing, management accounting etc.), acknowledging the importance of interdisciplinary research for an in-depth understanding of accounting phenomena in their environment.

Charlotte Ene studied Law at Faculty of Law, University from Bucharest. In 1998, Charlotte Ene was appointed Professor of Law at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. She teaches Business Law, International Business Law (in English), European Union Law, company (corporate) law, insurance law, etc. Charlotte Ene is member of the organizing committees of different international conferences and she is author and co-author of more articles and books in the field of Business Law, Company Law and International Business Law. She is, also, member of the Bucharest Bar since 1993.
